Its ultra-slim luminous ring, just 20 mm thick, emits a direct, uniform, and glare-free light.
Thanks to the vertical tube, the light is no longer bound to a fixed position: the ring moves smoothly along it, allowing for dynamic, sculptural compositions. With a simple gesture, its presence transforms, offering a new way to inhabit light.
The name Nadir, from the Arabic naẓīr (نظير), meaning “equal and opposite”, refers to the celestial point diametrically opposite the zenith, a symbol of tension between high and low, light and shadow. This relationship between verticality and circularity, between void and solid, takes shape in the object itself: a balance of geometric rigor and visual poetry.
The vertical axis recalls the idea of the astronomical nadir, while the luminous ring evokes planetary orbits, bringing a fragment of the cosmos into the domestic space. Nadir transforms light into a living, ever-changing, and contemplative presence, capable of restoring the emotion of gazing toward the sky.
